Websites vs Landing Pages

Understanding the distinctions between creating a website and a landing page is crucial for aligning your online presence with specific goals.

Websites offer comprehensive and enduring platforms for diverse content.

Landing pages serve as focused and temporary tools to drive specific actions.

Think of websites as multiple pages (like a book) and landing pages as one page (like a flyer). If you’re looking to have people do one thing only (call a number, learn about an event, announce a book launch), consider building a landing page.

Linktree

Sometimes you need a place to gather all of you online information in one place.

Linktree is a tool to help you share everything you are, in one simple link – making your online content more discoverable, easier to manage and more likely to convert.

Linktree allows you to put links to your social media (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, etc), your podcasts, music platforms, newsletter - you name it - into one place. It provides you with a shareable url/web address. You can also use it to sell products. It’s a fun platform to explore.

Email Newsletters

If you already have a list of emails and would like to continually communicate with a list of friends, colleagues or customers, consider an email marketing newsletter platform. Here you can email a select list of people and see data on who opened, read or clicked on your email. My clients have success with Mailchimp.

Blogs

If you’re not looking to email people and would rather write longer content say to share your expertise on a topic, establish yourself as an expert in your field, or share your music or art, consider a blog.

About.me

For entrepreneurs and professionals looking for a way to showcase themselves, consider an about.me page. It’s like a resume webpage.
